'When we decided to get married Sallymills was our number one choice for our wedding cake. We were both agreed it had to taste great and David, as you know, we have been going to your stall in the market every Saturday morning for a few years now. Tasting all your treats so we knew it was going to be an unbelievable treat to taste your wedding cake .

We would just like to thank you both for the beautiful cake you made for our wedding and also for all the ideas for it. We didn’t want a traditional wedding cake. We wanted something different, but we still wanted it to look traditional.
Because it was Summer we went for a Lemon Madera for the bottom tier. This was fabulous and so refreshing. All the guests at the wedding loved it and are still talking about it. For the middle tier we, or should I say I, wanted something with chocolate and you suggested chocolate fudge. This was so gorgeous and all the ladies really enjoyed this tier. For the last tier we wanted something fun, as it is the smallest tier. We went for something the younger guests would like - Chocolate biscuit cake. This tier was my favourite. The nuts and biscuit and the flavour of this was unbelievable. We had very little cake to bring home the next day. Only a few slices of each so I think that’s the best way of telling how much people enjoyed it. There was none left. Thank you both so much for making our special day even more special with your beautiful cake .

'We wish to sincerely thank Sallymills for baking our wedding cake this year. It was first class in its high standards of both taste and design - setting the tone. The cake was beautifully iced. The design and colours used mirrored our own bridal colours worn on our special day. Personalising our cake even more were the iced bouquets of white roses, designed to be similar to the bride's bouquet, which neatly adorned the top of each cake layer. It looked absolutely stunning and was greatly admired by our guests.

Most important of all, of course, was that the fruit cake was absolutely delicious, and much enjoyed by our guests. Sallymills can be highly recommended for excellence in the quality and design of their cakes. We wish them every success in the future.'
